Ad-Hoc Sprinter van driver

Our prestigious client in Coventry are doing so well they are looking to source 3.5 tonne drivers to join their team. This is a position starting IMMEDIATELY

Pay rate: £11.79 per hour, paid weekly

This role includes the collection of tote boxes from sites across the region, on average 8 collections per day, and delivery back to the new state of the art facility in Coventry.

As a valued team member of the driving team you will be expected to be reliable, have some previous experience driving 3.5 tonne box /Luton vans and come to work with a positive attitude. Not hard when you are working for such a great employer

For this sprinter van role you will need to have:

• A valid UK driving license (6 points max)
• A good sense of direction, and access to a satnav or navigational app on your phone as not all of the vehicles have built in sat navs.
• The ability to collect and lift tote boxes full of books, sometimes upstairs to and from the collection points.
• Monday – Friday starting between 06:00-08:00am until finish on each day.
• A friendly and professional personality as collections include high street shops.
• A sensible driving nature and care for the well maintained fleet of company vans, conducting vehicle checks each morning.
